St Davids Let us help you maximise your time when you arrive in Fishguard and what better way to see the local area, than with your own personal local guide. On our full day excursion, we explore Pemborokeshire and take you to some our favourite places, including the smallest City in the UK, St Davids, where we will visit the magnificent cathedral.
We will then guide you to the sites that the larger buses can’t access, so you are away from the large crowds but visit the secret gems.
We like to make sure you have a true feel for the local area and meet the characters that make Pembrokeshire and Wales so unique.

ARRIVE: St Davids
Your journey in Pembrokshire will begin when we collect you at the port side of Fishguard harbour. After a brief discusion to confirm our itinerary for the day, we will then set out on your adventure.
Our first route will travel along the coastal road, enjoying scenic coast and countryside views. St Davids is located on the most Westerly point of Pembrokeshire and it’s Cathedral has been a site of pilgrimage and worship for more than 800 years. You will be personally guided around the site and learn about the rich history that makes it such a wonderful place to visit. Today this splendid building erected to the glory of God remains a vibrant, living church offering a place of peace for prayer and devotion.

ARRIVE: Pointz Castle
We will visit the dairy farm in Solva where you can see the cows, who enjoy the most spectacular views from the fields. It is here the milk is taken directly to the on-site parlour and turned into the most delicious, creamy ice cream. There are flavours galore to experience.

One of Wales’ most visited megalithic cromlechs, dating back some six thousand years. This fine burial chamber has an impressive 20 ton capstone, makes you wonder how this blue dolerite ever came to rest here!

ARRIVE: Castell Henllys
Castell Henllys is the only Iron Age Village in Britain reconstructed on the exact site where our Celtic ancestors lived 2,500 years ago. Here you can walk in the footsteps of the Demetae tribe.
Time to stop for lunch and taste some delicious local produce, whilst enjoying the tranquillity of the woodlands and rivers running passed the café.

ARRIVE: The Parish of Nevern
Highlights will include ‘The Bleeding Yew’ whos’ seeping sap is blood red. The Celtic Cross dates from the early 11th Century and is one of only 3 of its kind found in Pembrokeshire.
St. Brynach’s Church dates from the 13th century and inside the church you can
view the most amazing example Ogham writing, on old Irish form of communication.
We end the tour with a scenic drive up and over Dinas Mountain to see views of Newport Bay and Fishguard Harbour in the distance. Guests have the option to finish the tour in Fishguard Square (if time allows), to view the Last Invasion Tapestry and explore the town. Free shuttles back to the harbour are available if required.
